Notes
Different brands of dijon mustard can have varying levels of "mustard flavor" or spiciness. You can start with ¼ cup and taste the dressing before deciding if you want to add more.
Depending on how juicy the orange is, you may get ¼ cup from half an orange, or you made need to juice an entire orange.
Mix the dressing ingredients in a measuring cup or bowl using a whisk, or add all the ingredients to a jar or salad dressing shaker and shake vigorously.
For a more citrus flavor, gently grate some of the orange skin and add the zest to the dressing.
If you prefer a slightly thicker dressing, add only half the amount of orange juice or omit the orange juice and just add orange zest.
Add more mayonnaise or honey to your desired taste.
Store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, stirring before use.
Use it as a dip for chicken nuggets or cut vegetables.
Drizzle it over fried eggs, cooked chicken or fish. Also delicious on avocado toast or in sandwiches or burgers!
