Equipment
1 Ice Cube Tray
1 Jar with a tight fitting lid
Ingredients
1
cup
room temperature water
2
tablespoons
matcha powder
Instructions
In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine water and matcha powder and shake vigorously for about 1 minute.
Pouring directly from the jar or transferring to a measuring cup with a spout, fill an ice cube tray with the matcha mixture.
Freeze until ice cubes are solid, at least 6 hours.
Place matcha cubes in a glass and add milk, matcha tea, coconut milk, sparkling water, or coffee, etc.
Notes
As the matcha ice cubes melt, some of the matcha may settle in your glass. Simply stir with your straw or a spoon to redistribute it in the drink.
Make your drink more matcha by filling your glass halfway with more matcha drink before adding milk or coffee to top it up.
Instead of using milk, pour sparkling water over the ice cubes for an even more refreshing drink!
