Published: Jan 1, 2021 · Modified: Jan 1, 2021 · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads.

After an unprecedented mind-numbing year, we can't say goodbye to 2020 fast enough. But as we ring in the new year, let's take a quick moment to reflect and look back at the top 12 most popular new recipes from 2020!

If there is one thing to take away from a crazy year, it is that people cooked and baked more, adding to the sense of home and appreciating simple things...like making bread.

It was amazing to see positive responses to my recipes and to read comments and stories of people who were inspired by my dishes. I loved seeing people tackle harder recipes and share their excitement when they succeeded. I was also incredibly touched when I read comments from readers who made dishes that brought back personal childhood memories and food memories associated with family.

All of this only reinforced why I love what I do.

So in this time of reflection as we move onto (hopefully) and brighter and better year ahead, let's see what new recipes inspired enough people to make these the most popular recipes from 2020.

    Quote for the Day

"Cooking is like painting or writing a song. Just as there are only so many notes or colors, there are only so many flavors -- it's how you combine them that sets you apart." ~ Wolfgang Puck.
