A DAY OUT

Aside from spending time in my kitchen, I enjoy spending time out traveling, seeing the sights, and eating!

A Day Out

I am always in search of a great meal at a local restaurant. Considering Hong Kong has one of the highest number of restaurants per capita in the world, there is a lot to choose from here! Some of my favorites offer the quintissential "hole-in-the-wall" experience. In other words, they're a little off the beaten path, good food, no frills, and affordable. One of my favorite things to do is to simply wander and see what restaurant gem we might discover.

My family and I also love to travel. Needless to say, I love taking in the sights and happenings of new places we visit. Sometimes I'll see things I never noticed before in familiar places! A Day Out is an outlet for writing about our travels and, perhaps, the stories will inspire you to go visit the same destinations.

A Day Out

Obviously, no matter where we go, the food experience is also high on the list. I like to seek out restaurants that might offer a good local meal. For the places we revisit often, we definitely have our usual favorites. However, I also look for new restaurants we haven't tried before. It's easy to go to the familiar places, but there's a whole world of food out there to explore!

Get out there and go look for new and intriguing places to eat when you travel, or right where you live! Travel to new places and see what they have to offer. Be a tourist in your own city! If you happen to live or visit any of the cities or restaurants I write about, make sure to leave a comment!
